Las Vegas – Brady, a full-line janitorial supply, equipment and foodservice distributor, which launched its charitable giving campaign “Brady Shines” as part of its 70th Anniversary celebration in 2017, is thrilled to announce the beneficiaries from its 8th grant cycle June - August. Over 100 applications from all Brady territories were submitted applying for products and funds to benefit education- and youth-based organizations with a focus on programs that promote safety & well-being.
“We are honored to support these deserving organizations who work tirelessly to keep our children and communities safe,” said Travis Brady, President and CEO.
Recipients Include:
- Angel Heart Pajama Project – Tucson, AZ – Providing new pajamas and books to foster literacy development to children who are abandoned, abused or living in homeless shelters
- Children’s Village, Inc. – Coeur d’Alene, ID – The only non-profit children’s residential facility in Kootenal County housing the only Crisis Nursery in Northern Idaho
- Love Thy Neighbor, Inc. – Buckeye, AZ – A year-round program for youth ages 3 and up teaching self-respect, discipline, creativity, leadership skills and more
- More Than a Bed – Tucson, AZ – A qualified Foster Care Charitable Organization established to support foster and adoptive parents with items needed for their homes.
- Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth – Las Vegas, NV – The most comprehensive service provider for homeless youth offering a safe and supportive environment and a path to self-sufficiency
- One Fund El Paso – El Paso, TX – Supporting the victims and family from August 3rd tragedy
- Sage Home – Flagstaff, AZ – A unique approach to treating substance abuse by fostering healthy family attachments keeping mothers and babies together through treatment
- United Citizens Foundation – Las Vegas, NV – To support, educate and provide mental and behavioral health services to students and families regardless of economic status
Brady Shines’ 9th cycle with a focus on Schools in Need launched September 1 and will accept applications through November 30. Non-profits in all Brady geographic territories focused on education- and youth-based programs are invited to submit grant proposals for consideration.
